Murray’s Boxing Gym, located in Geelong West, was founded by Mick Murray in 1989 and is now ran by his son, Kevin Murray who carries on his legacy since his sad passing in 2011. Kev is a former professional national champion and now experienced coach, operating an old-school styled gym, welcoming all ranges of levels and experiences

Frequently Asked Questions

There are no set classes or PT bookings available. The gym operates as a traditional boxing gym, where you can come anytime within the opening hours and pay a casual fee (no membership sign-ups) to use the space.
Beginners will be guided through a training program, and all sessions include pad work with Kev adjusted to your level.

Payment is made in cash when you arrive, prior to training. You must log your name and confirm your payment.
10 - 16 years - $5
Over 16 years - $10 -
Skipping ropes and communal gloves are available to borrow, although it is encouraged to bring your own gear including wraps and gloves.
Please ensure to wear appropriate training gear and bring a sweat towel and drink bottle.
Mouthguards are required for sparring.

You must be 10 years or above to train. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
All levels of experience are welcome.

There are 2 entrances to the gym -
12 Arnott St, Geelong West (less parking available), or Leckie place, Geelong West (suggested for better parking).
